Assam COVID-19: Death Toll Rises to 35

Assam registered another death of COVID-19 taking the state's tally to 35. This is the fifth death today, informed health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through his twitter handle.

The minister in his tweet said, "With a heavy heart I inform you that Shri Hareswar Nath, 53 years old, a non-symptomatic patient with no co morbidities succumbed to COVID 19 at IITG COVID care centre.His oxygen levels plummeted to 90 within hours and he collapsed. My deepest condolences to his family. RIP."

It may be mentioned that four patients at GMCH succumbed to the virus earlier today.
