Assam: COVID Death Toll Mounts To 971

Assam recorded two more coronavirus related deaths on Friday, taking the state's fatalities to 971.

Confirming the deaths, state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted Late Darani Barman (80) of Nalbari and Late Jamaluddin Ahmed (54) of Morigaon passed away.

The death tally rate of the state is 0.46 per cent.
