The minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat arrived in Assam on Monday to review the flood situation and relief works in the state.
Sekhawat was received by Keshab Mahanta, Minister of Water Resources, S&T and IT, Government of Assam at LGBI Airport, Guwahati on Monday evening.
Shekhawat will undertake an aerial survey in Upper Assam tomorrow (July 16). He will also hold a review meeting with senior Assam Government ministers and officials in Guwahati.
