Assam Govt hikes 2% DA

Good news for Government employees of the state before Durga Puja.

On Tuesday, Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal has approved 2% hike in DA (Dearness Allowance) for the state employees. State Government will spend additional 50 crore for this increase in DA. As per official sources, this hiked DA would be effective from July 1, 2018.

This will take the DA of State Government employees from existing 7 percent to 9 percent.
