The Government of Assam has issued a new order on June 13th, 2021 for the government employees.
The order stated that those Government officials who have received both the doses of Covid-19 vaccines are directed to rejoin the office and resume work from June 14th onwards.
As per reports, Covid-19 protocols and guidelines which are issued by the Government will be maintained throughout.
Moreover, this order has been issued for the smooth functioning of the government sector offices with the Covid situation slightly getting better in the state.
As per the earlier SOPs issued by Assam Government, all offices, including Government, were meant to only function with 50% human capacity in the office premises.
According to the latest Covid-19 updates, Assam reports 4,57,330 total positive cases, 4,08,770 discharged, 43,298 active cases and 3,915 deaths.
Assam on Saturday logged 3,463 new cases and 42 deaths, taking the positivity rate of the day to 2.14%.
