Assam: Major Fire on Gandhidham Express Due to Technical Glitch

A major accident was averted on the railway tracks in Assam's Bongaigaon on Wednesday with the timely intervention of railway personnel.

According to sources, a minor fire broke out in the Gandhidham Express while the train was crossing Majgaon, a locality near Bongaigaon earlier today.

The fire reportedly erupted from the brakes of the train following a technical glitch raising concerns of a potential accident.

However, the swift action by railway workers prevented a potential accident.
