In the aftermath of the assault, the police launched a late-night crackdown on Friday and arrested 11 more individuals from various parts of the Krishnai area. This brings the total number of arrests related to the incident to 21.

Sources indicate that several suspects have fled to different areas of Goalpara to evade arrest. However, the police have intensified their operation, identifying those involved through video footage of the violence.
