Assam Police Uses ‘Mime’ for Road safety

TheAssam police has started a campaign on road safety that will continue, for thenext few months, to spread awareness through Mime (Mime is a formof silent art that involves acting or communicating using only movements,gestures, and facial expressions.)

Theinitiative, taken up in coordination with the local mime artists, will reachout to the maximum number of residents and teach them how to avoid accidents.

Art is the best way todepict reality. To raise awareness about Traffic Safety, we are using Mime art& theatrical medium in order to drive home the message.
