Assam posted 2785 fresh COVID-19 cases on Monday. The cases were detected all across the state out of 38611 tests conducted.
This was informed by Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Taking to the social media site, Twitter, he wrote, "Alert ~ 2785 #COVID cases detected today out of 38611 tests done in last 24 hours."

Kamrup M- 675, Dibrugarh- 220, Jorhat- 165, Lakhimpur- 126

While most of these cases were found in Kamrup Metro, Dibrugarh, Jorhat and Lakhimpur were not far behind.
The cumulative infected tally in the state goes up to 128244, while the recovered cases stand at 96823.
The state has so far seen 370 deaths.
