Assam records 5607 active COVID-19 cases

Assam's total tally of coronavirus cases rose by 535 to reach 16,071 on Saturday evening while taking the death toll to 35, health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.

Out of the 535 new cases reported yesterday, 410 cases were from the capital city Guwahati. The active cases across the state has spike to 5607.

Meanwhile, 10, 426 cases have recovered so far and 578 patients were discharged COVID19 negative yesterday.
