Assam votes 80.73% in Phase-III

Around 80.73 percent voters exercised their franchise till 9 PM on Tuesday in the third phase of Lok Sabha Elections in the four parliamentary constituencies in Assam.

As of now, Dhubri recorded highest number of polling with 86.94 percent voter turnout, while Kokrajhar constituency recorded the lowest number of polling with 77.38 percent. Similarly, Guwahati recorded 80.18 percent voter turnout and Barpeta recorded 78.11 percent voter turnouts. A total of 54 candidates are in the fray for the third phase of Lok Sabha Elections in the four parliamentary constituencies in Assam.

However, the overall percent is likely to increase in all the four constituencies.
