The Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) havelaunched an operation at Bamunimaidam railway market on Tuesday night andevicted large number of illegal liquor dens.
A section of people alleged that a group of miscreants demands moneyfrom the business establishments on daily basis to run the liquor business inthe market of railway line. Locals also alleged that there has been a chaotic environmentin the area due to the illegal liquor business and that many accidents takeplace in the rail line.
The GRP and RPF conducted the operation based on the allegations of thepublic and seized illegal liquor from the place and also evicted large numberof liquor dens.
