Bangladeshi citizen detained in Karimganj

A Bangladeshi citizen has been detained in Karimganjdistrict on Thursday. The Bangladeshi citizen was identified as KayesuddinTalukdar.

According to reports, he married an Indian lady and applied for the inclusion of his name in the NRC through fake documents. However, Talukdar's name was not included in the NRC.

The BSF detained him, while he was returning toBangladesh on Thursday. After primary investigation, it was revealed that Talukdarhails from Maulvibazar district in Bangladesh.
