Barpeta: 3 Killed Including Children In Road Accident

In a tragic incident, three members of a family including children were killed in a road accident in Barpeta's Nangalkur Village on Friday.

As per sources, the car bearing registration number 'AS01-JC-1519', in which they were travelling, lost control and plunged into a nearby pond killing all three of them.

Victims were identified as 45-year old Nurul Islam, his 14-year old daughter and his 4-year old grandson.

Locals rushed to the spot upon getting information and rescued them from the pond. They were sent to Barpeta Medical College & Hospital (BMCH) but was declared dead on arrival.
