Barpeta: 35 Persons Test COVID-19 Positive

The COVID-19 situation in Barpeta district has turned towards community transmission as 35 people including Revenue Circle, Block Development employees have tested positive of the virus.

Moreover, 8 police personnel of Barpeta Road police station also tested COVID-19 positive after which the other staff created panic among themselves.

Other than the police personnel, 3 employees of Barpeta Revenue Circle tested positive for COVID-19 while 3 persons from Bornagar Revenue Circle have also been infected of the virus.

Another person from Barpeta block also tested COVID-19 positive while the others who are tested positive are from the quarantine centers.
