Boat capsizes in Barpeta

A tragic accident has been averted as three people including the sailor swum to safety after a boat capsized in Baghbar's Mandia in Barpeta.

It may be noted that the boat was carrying 54 drums filled with kerosene.

The boat was travelling to Baghbor from Mandia.

A few months earlier, a boat had capsized in North Guwahati killing four people which had stirred a lot of controversy.
