Bongaigaon: Cop Arrested For Taking Bribe

A police officer of Bidyapur station of Bongaigaon district on Thursday has been arrested on charges of taking a bribe.

The accused Harmuz Ali, in-charge of Bidyapur police station took a bribe of rupees 5000.

An anti-corruption investigation was launched by police officials of the district in the police station here after Ashad Ali filed a complaint against the police officer.
