The IconicBrahmaputra Mail will no longer be the blue train we used to see as marking thebeginning of a new era, the Brahmaputra Mail will be converted into a LinkeHofmann Busch (LHB) coaches from July 20.
Thestep was taken to ensure safe, speedy and comfortable travel, informedNortheast Frontier Railway (NF Railway).

LinkeHofmann Busch (LHB) coaches are the passenger coaches of Indian Railways thathave been developed by Linke-Hofmann-Busch of Germany and mostly produced byRail Coach Factory in Kapurthala. The coaches are designed for an operatingspeed up to 160 km/h and could go up to 200 km/h.
