Budget reflects the dreams of the people: CM Sonowal

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday praised the Assam Budget 2019-20, presented by Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Praising the budget CM tweeted, "#AssamBudget2019 is a forward looking vision for our development journey."

The CM also added, "This budget for all sections of greater Assamese society is a testimony to our commitment. It will empower women, give new direction to youth development & initiate steps to preserve indigenous traditions."

CM Sonowal also congratulated Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the budget team of the Assam government for presenting "A visionary Assam Budget, which reflects the dreams of the people."

The CM also said that the State "Moves forward towards development and progress with resolute steps and good governance."
