A bullet-riddled body was recovered in a jungle near Nagajanka Tea Estate in Mariani on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Uttam Fulmali of Nagajanka Tea Estate's Bor Line.

Later, Mariani police reached the incident spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

An investigation is underway.
