A dead body was recovered today by the locals at the Baman Pathar area of Kuruwa in Darrang.
Identified as Teg Bahadur, the body was buried up a hill with the feet hanging above the ground.
Bahadur, who was a businessman, was missing since Thursday.
The Police arrived at the spot later to investigate the matter.
