Carbide stuffed mangoes recovered at Jagiroad

Officials of the Food Safety Department conducted an operation at Jagiroad and recovered carbide stuffed mangoes from a godown.

A truck full of mangoes was seized by the department. Boxes in the truck consisted of mangoes and carbide wrapped in paper.

The truck, with registration WB 19 H 3958, was later supposed to deliver the mangoes for sale in markets.
