CBI files case against Nemcare Hospital MD

CBI has filed a case against Guwahati based Nemcare Hospital Managing Director Hitesh Baruah under Anti-Corruption law.

The investigating unit has alleged Baruah of misusing funds provided by NEC in the name of Burn Care Foundation.

CBI has also filed a case against NEC Health Advisor NJ Sharma of his alleged involvement with Baruah in the scam.

Rs 2 crore 70 lakh had been invested in purchasing sophisticated equipment.
