The CBI on Saturday night raided the residence of IFS Diganta Gogoi in the city.
CBI's operation to probe into a forest scam.
The case (8/12-RC5/2019) was registered in New Delhi.
As per reports, Gogoi is currently serving in Andaman and Nicobar.
The raid continued from 11:30 pm to 5:30 am.
