CM orders probe into P&RD appointment

Taking strong note of the alleged irregularities reportedly appeared on a section of Media involving appointment into permanent posts in Panchayat and Rural Development Department (P&RD), Assam CM Sarbandana Sonowal ordered in inquiry into the controversy.

Taking a suo motu cognizance of the reported controversy, CM Sonowal ordered formation of a one man inquiry by Additional Chief Secretary Jishnu Baruah to inquire into the whole episode and submit report to the government at the earliest.
