CM Sonowal, Himanta turn pall-bearers for martyr Basumatary

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal along with Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday evening served as pallbearers to the coffin of martyred CRPF jawan Moneswar Basumatary after laying wreath on the mortal remains at Borjhar Airport in Guwahati.

Prior to that, CM Sonowal, Ex-CM Tarun Gogoi and various others paid their tribute to the martyr Basumatary.

Later, the mortal remains will be airlifted by a special chopper of Indian Air Force to his village in Kalbari.
