Aheadof the arrival of the rainy season, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal onSunday visited the Kaziranga National Park (KNP) and reviewed the preparednessfor flood by the World Heritage Site authorities.
He inspected the 33 highlands inside the KNP and asked officials to ensure availability of food-stock and veterinary surgeons at the highlands. The CM further directed officials for immediate construction of roads to the highlands.
Visited the Agoratoli range in Kaziranga National Park and reviewed preparations for the upcoming rainy season.

It should be noted that the World Heritage Site will remain close for the world tourists from May 16, 2019.
