Sprint queen Hima Das of Assam gave the country a big reason to celebrate. She is right now the toast of the nation and also the talk of the nation. Right from the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, everybody has tweeted congratulatory messages to Hima for bringing so much of glory to the nation as well as for the state.

As the country pour in with praise and accolades for the "Dhing Express, sports personnel celebrate her victory on Twitter.

And the tweets do not stop for this 18-year old girl fromNagaon district in Assam. The golden girl, who brought home glory, receivedcongratulatory tweets and encouragement from President Ram Nath Kovind, PrimeMinister Narendra Modi, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and B-towncelebrities. 

On Sunday, Modi took to Twitter to congratulate Hima saying "India is very proud of Hima Das's phenomenal achievements over the last few days. Everyone is absolutely delighted that she has brought home five medals in various tournaments." Hima Das responded to the Prime Minister saying that she will continue to work hard and bring more medals for India.

President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted,"You're incredible @HimaDas8 Keep sprinting, keep shining." Hima Das respondedsaying that she will continue to work hard and bring more laurels to thecountry.

Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to congratulate the sprinter and wished her the best for the future. "Loving the way you have been running in the European circuit over the last 19 days. Your hunger to win and perseverance is an inspiration for the youth. Congrats on your 5 Medals! All the best for the future races, @HimaDas8," Tendulkar wrote.

In Bollywood starting from Amitabh Bachchan to Farhan Akhtarto Akshay Kumar  and others– all havetaken to Twitter to congratulate the track queen on her big win

Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actorcongratulated Hima Das for her incredible achievement in a series of tweets. Inone of the tweets, the senior actor wrote that in 400 meters to give that kindof a spurt in the last 15-20 meters is an impossible feat! "Hima Das  … you are something special," he tweeted.

Anushka Sharma tweeted a special message for India's "golden girl" to which Hima Das responded by saying she was a "big-time fan" of the actress.

Anil Kapoor also shared a sweet message on his Twitter account, which read, "Congratulations on winning the 5th gold @HimaDas8! Your act of kindness towards Assam is an inspiration to us all. A great athlete with a heart of gold. Wishing you all the more success! India is proud of you!"

Hima's fifth gold of the month came on July 20 in the Czech Republic with an amazing last-minute pick up in pace where in the last 19 days in an incredible performance, after she clocked a season-best time of 52.09 seconds to win the gold in 400m at the Nove Mesto and Metuji Grand Prix. The sprinter's personal best time is 50.79 seconds, which she had clocked during the 2018 Asian Games.

Shewon her fourth gold in 200m at the Tabor Athletics Meet on July 17.

Before that on July 13, she won her third 200m gold at the Kladno Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic with a time of 23.43 seconds while her fourth gold came at the Tabor Athletics Meet in the same country on Wednesday.

OnJuly 7, she won her second 200m gold at the Kutno Athletics Meet in Poland witha time of 23.43 seconds. And in her first competitive 200m race of the year onJuly 2, Hima clocked 23.65 seconds to win gold at the Poznan Athletics GrandPrix in Poland.

She created history by conquering the title of becomingthe first Indian track athlete, as well as the first India woman, to win fivegold medal in all age groups.
