LS Polls: Congress finalises Meghalaya Candidates

All the political parties are brainstorming hard to select candidates for various constituencies to secure seats in the Lok Sabha Elections.

Likewise, Congress in a meeting of the Central Election Committee to decide on candidates for the northeast seats and had finalised candidates for Meghalaya.

According to reports, Vincent has been chosen for candidature from Shillong and on the other hand, Mukul Sangma will be fielded from Tura constituency.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Sangma told reporters that only candidates for Meghalaya has been declared till now and that for the rest will be declared later.
