Courier service person arrested for stealing gold

A person who stole gold from a courierservice in Guwahati has been arrested from Bokakhat on Saturday.

The accused has been identified as NipenSaikia of Tamulipathar village in Bokakhat. Acting on a tip off, the police hadrecovered the stolen gold from his possession.

As per the reports, he had stolen the goldfrom Prime Time Express Courier Service in Guwahati, where he was working as anemployee.

He reportedly quit his job following theincident and later the owner of the courier service came to know about themissing gold and reported the incident to police.The police arrested Nipen along with the stolengold.
