COVID-19: 12 Dibrugarh VG Hospital Staff Test Positive

As the number of frontline workers contracting COVID-19 rises in the state, 12 females, including nurses, working in the VG Hospital of Dibrugarh have reportedly tested positive on Saturday.

Four out of them are senior citizens – Antonia Mampilly (85), Eileen Dalmeida (72), Michael Serrao (82) and Martha Kochuparambil (83).

The said hospital and hostel, except the psychiatric department, was already declared containment zone. Similarly, the ground floor of the Archana Hospital of the town was also declared containment zone recently.
