COVID-19 Assam: Death toll climbs to 66

Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed two more patients passed away to coronavirus (COVID-19) in Assam on Wednesday pushing the death count to 66.

"Alok Ghosh (54, Jorhat) and Haren Boron (47, Kamrup Metro), lost the battle against #COVID19 today taking total death count in Assam to 66," said the minister on Twitter.

Meanwhile, a recent update states another patient succumbed to the disease today in Nalbari identified as Jabeda Bibi. Declaration of her death would take the tally to 67.
