COVID-19 Assam: Death toll hits 70 today

Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed of four more deaths to coronavirus on Thursday, pushing the death tally of the state to 70.

The minister stated the details of the four deceased – BL Ajit Saria (75, Kamrup Metro); Baldev Singh (43, Jammu & Kashmir); Samim Ahmed (40, Karimganj) and Dilip Kr Roy (53, Kokrajhar)

The minister extended his prayers and condolences for the bereaved families.
