COVID-19 Assam: Death toll rises to 30

The latest update by health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma states three more deaths in Assam on Thursday evening, all succumbing to the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking the state's death tally to 30.

The three deceased are identified as one Bhaben Gogoi (72), who was already suffered from lymphoma and passed away in AMCH, Dibrugarh. Dhaneswar Seal (68), who was also diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and Tarzuna Begum (38), who had diabetes, passed away at MMCH.

Earlier, two patients passed away today.
