COVID-19 Assam: Four People Die Today

Another four people succumbed to COVID-19 in Assam today. This takes the total death toll in the state to 43.

The names of the deceased are Uttam Das (31), Keshab Kumar Baruah (62), Kartik Kalita (30) and Dr. Jahan Iqbal Ahmed (56).

Earlier in the day, Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held a meeting at GMCH that revolved around treatment of the infected patients.

In the meeting, he also spoke of starting a separate COVID Care facility for children at MMCH, besides suggesting that the three available medicines against the pandemic would be brought to the state.
