The COVID-19 situation in Jorhat has turned quite serious. 101 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Jorhat today.
Of these 101 people, 100 didn't have any travel history.
A total of 899 people have been found to be COVID-19 positive in Jorhat so far.
Of them, 323 infected people have so far been released. 551 are undergoing treatment.
Jorhat Administration, in a bid to slow the spread of the contagion, has recently extended the lockdown in its municipal and sub-urban areas.
