COVID Assam: 8 Fresh Cases, 24 Discharged

Assam reported eight new coronavirus cases on Sunday, while 24 patients were discharged. The total number of cases in the state now stands at 2,17,210.

The active caseload has reduced to 332.

The recoveries have touched 2,14,447 with a recover rate of 98.73 percent.

Meanwhile, no deaths have been reported today. The tally stands at 1,084 at 0.50 per cent.

The vaccination process is underway and so far 88, 624 have taken the COVID vaccine jabs.
