Darrang Villagers Charged For Electricity Without Connection

Villagers of two Darrang villages in Arimari protested against the Kharupetia Power Sub-Division today.

They accused the sub-division of handing them over hand-written bills even without providing power connection.

The villagers chanted slogans against the Assam government, besides uttering loud cries against the Electricity Department.
