Daylight robbery in Lanka

A daylight robbery has taken place at Lanka in Hojai district on Friday.

Reportedly, robbers looted Rs 2,05,000 from a bank customernamed Dipak Shil.

As per reports, Shil withdraws the money from Lanka UBI branch to deposit in his Canara bank account. But the miscreants robbed the money from his scooter box.

It may be stated that police have already started investigation in this regard.
