DEMU train stops midway in Nagaon

The DEMU train between Silghat and Guwahati stopped midway following glitches on Monday. The incident took place near Bebejia Railway station and stranded the passengers.

Notably, Bebejia falls under Union MoS for Railways Rajen Gohain's home district Nagoan. Angry passengers slammed Minister Gohain for his failure to provide proper rail-connectivity to the people of his home district.

According to reports, the train has developed engine trouble four times before reaching Bebejia.
