According to exclusive information, Archita Phukan is neither associated with any pornographic content nor currently residing in the United States, contrary to what viral posts on various platforms had falsely claimed. The viral images, which sparked widespread outrage and speculation, were digitally manipulated to show explicit content by superimposing Archita’s face onto unrelated bodies.

Police investigations have revealed that the photos were part of a targeted campaign of defamation orchestrated by Archita’s former boyfriend, Pratim Bora. Using advanced photo editing tools, Bora allegedly created and circulated the images with malicious intent following a personal fallout.

Archita, who hails from Dibrugarh, filed a formal complaint at the Dibrugarh Police Station after discovering the doctored photos circulating online. Based on her FIR, authorities launched an investigation that led to the arrest of Pratim Bora. He has since been booked under multiple sections related to cybercrime, harassment, and violation of privacy.

Dibrugarh Police confirmed that the accused is currently in custody and will be produced before the court. The case has raised fresh concerns about the misuse of digital technology and social media platforms to target individuals, particularly women, with doctored content.

Officials have urged the public not to circulate unverified or defamatory content online and warned of strict action against those involved in such acts.

Meanwhile, Archita Phukan has appealed for privacy and justice, expressing relief that the truth has come to light.
