Doctor arrested in forgery case

A doctorhas been arrested in connection with the Insurance Scam in Barpeta district. Thedoctor has been identified as Nurul Islam.

Accordingto reports, the doctor had issued a fake death certificate to an accused andhelped him to withdraw a huge amount of money from the insurance company. DoctorIslam issued the fake death certificate to one Mujammil Haque and Haque hadclaimed Rs. 16 lakh from the company.

Later,it was found that Haque is sound and alive and the company has lodged an FIR inconnection with the forgery.

Followingthe FIR, the police initiated an investigation in this regard.
