In a sensational incident in Silchar, body of a youth recovered from the toilet of a restaurant on Saturday morning. The youth has been identified as Sudam Gowala. The body was recovered from the restaurant named Parijat Leisure.
Police after searching the restaurant recovered a syringe from a dustbin of the restaurant. Police suspected that the youth died from a drug overdose. Locals informed that workers of the restaurant have hidden the syringe from police.
Meanwhile, the body has been sent for an autopsy. Locals present at the restaurant alleged that the restaurant has been running a drug business and demanded immediate probe into the incident.
