Drug peddler arrested in Basistha

During an operation, Basistha police arrested a drug peddler at the Saukuchi region in Guwahati on Friday night at around 9 PM.

As per reports, the accused has been identified as Sarifuddin Ahmed, resident of the Medattari region in Barpeta. It may be stated that police had seized 24 nos of drug containers, 2 mobile phones and a bike (AS-01-DZ-2944).

It may be stated that the accused had confessed that, he had come to supply the drug containers to an youth of Beharbari when Basistha police nabbed him in red-handed.
