Drugs racket busted in Barpathar

A major drugs racket was busted in Barpathar on Sunday. In a operation headed by Justice Pranhit Dev, Barpathar Poice arrested seven youths who were having drugs at a women's house named Rahimjaan Begum.

It is to be mentioned that the drugs racket was active in the region for quite a long time and it was within 100 meters of Barpathar Police Station.

The arrested youths are Moinul Ali, Rajesh Biswash, Saju Hussain, Nasir Ali, Krishna Dev, Sujit Majumdar and Babu Ali.

8 mobile phones along with drugs were also seized from Sujit Majumdar's house.
