Drugs Claim Life of One at Bamunimaidam

In an unfortunate incident, a youth died of consuming drugs atBamunimaidam. The youth has been identified as Rajib Mukhiya.

The family of Mukhiya alleged that Rajib has been murdered forconsuming excessive drugs. They alleged that the two youths Surajit Barman andHafijur Rahman have killed Rajib.

According to the report, Rajib was working at Tezpur and visited his home at Guwahati on the demise of his grandmother. The family member alleged that the two friends of Rajib had forcibly taken him from home and forced him to consume drugs as they want to take money from Rajib.

Rajib died at GMCH where he was taken for treatment after recoveringfrom a drain.

The family of Rajib has also filed an FIR at Chandmari police station.
