An earthquake was reported near Guwahati in Assam on Thursday evening, according to the crowdsourced earthquake network

As per its tweet, the earthquake was registered at 67 km from Guwahati post midnight. More details are awaited.

Meanwhile, according to National Center of Seismology, an earthquake of 5.5 magnitude was recorded in the neighbouring country of Myanmar.
