AssamEducation Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya on Thursday chaired a meeting withthe leaders of agitating TET qualified teachers in the State. Speaking to themedia after the meeting, Minister Bhattacharya said that the meeting wasfruitful.
However, the leaders of the agitating TET qualified teachers refrained from commenting anything regarding the meeting.
It may be mentioned here that the teachers were protesting following a remark by the education minister, where he allegedly compared their qualifications with that of a driving license. The teachers were also demanding regularisation of their jobs.
