Elderly Man Killed in Elephant Attack in Assam's Kaliabor

In a tragic incident, an elderly man lost his life after being attacked by wild elephants in Assam's Kaliabor, reports said on Thursday.

The incident occurred at Beloguri in Kaliabor's Laokhuwa on Wednesday night.

The deceased man has been identified as Jatindra Mandal, sources said.

Reports said that the wild jumbo had entered the village from the Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary at night in search of food.
