Fake CBI officers arrested in Morigaon

Mikirbheta Police on Saturday night arrested a fraudfrom Morigaon town. Identified as Kamal Nath, the fraud introduced himself as aCBI official.

Acting on a tip-off, the Mikirbheta Police arrested the fraud and seized several objectionable documents from him. "We have arrested Kamal Nath on charges of faking his identity. There was also an allegation that Nath used to take money from the people in name of giving jobs," said a police official.

Police have also recovered two fake CBI identity cards from Nath's possession. Meanwhile, Mikirbheta police are currently interrogating the fraud.
